Marina Coakley, CCC-SLP

Marina Coakley is a speech language pathologist who is passionate about providing treatment for neurological disorders impacting speech, language and cognition. Marina has experience working with adults in skilled nursing facilities and outpatient rehabilitation centers, as well as experience with pediatrics in the school setting, home setting, and private practice. She has an interest in working with all ages targeting executive function skills (planning, attention, memory, etc.).

After receiving her Bachelors Degree from Appalachian State University, she and her husband moved from their home state of North Carolina to Middle Tennessee. She went on to complete her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology with the University of South Carolina, spending six weeks in Charleston as part of her intensive practicum. While earning her Masters Degree, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician before formally transitioning into a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, exposing her to a variety of environments and learning multiple modalities of care.

Now Marina is licensed in both Tennessee and Kentucky as a full fledged SLP, and is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She offers the convenience of receiving quality treatment from the comfort of your own home using video conferencing, as well as flexible working terms with clients within her general vicinity who may prefer in-person care.
